Important update about the COVID-19 situation
We understand that the recent news and uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 situation may have caused you to re-think your day-to-day plans, but please let us reassure you that whatever your circumstances, we are still available to help.
So whether you have an MOT or service booked with us, or have placed an order and are awaiting delivery of a vehicle, we will do whatever possible to support you and keep you informed every step of the way.
At Devonshire Motors it is very much BUSINESS AS USUAL (But with all the precautions you would expect)
Our top priority is everyone’s health and wellbeing. We highly recommend customers everywhere also follow the health advice of relevant authorities. These are just some of the actions we are currently taking:
✅We are continuing to monitor government advice and have implemented all safety requirements and recommendations
✅We are using a specialist antibacterial car cleaner that has been developed in conjunction with Biocote (www.biocote.com) that is designed to kill up to 99.9% of bacteria
✅Staff have been fully briefed on new guidelines, with regular hand washing and all vehicles and surfaces in our showroom are undergoing regular cleans with appropriate products
✅Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities are readily available in our showroom
MOT tests and service bookings
If your vehicle is currently booked in, our team are still able to deliver our usual service to ensure vehicles continue to be maintained and road-safe. Our service, MOT and repair facility is fully functional.
If your vehicle is due a service or MOT, you can still book as usual and if you would prefer us to collect/deliver then please advise us accordingly. This can be done quickly and easily by using our online booking facility here.
Pay securely over the phone
Any work carried out on your vehicle can be paid for online or by card over the telephone to reduce personal contact. Just ask our service reception team how to do this and they will guide you through this simple process.
NHS and essential users
We recognise the current importance of keeping our NHS colleagues and other essential users, such as emergency services and carers, safely on the roads. With this in mind, we will prioritise you for service, repair and MOT work wherever possible. Please let us know if you fall into this category when speaking to us.
Your vehicle order
Should you be due to take delivery of a new or used vehicle in coming days, our teams will be in regular contact with you to advise of progress and availability for collection or delivery of your vehicle.
Vehicle collection and delivery
If you are over 70 or at all concerned about leaving your home then we will deliver your car back to your driveway. Due to the expected demand for vehicle collection and delivery there may be a short lead time on availability of this option and we ask for your understanding as we try to help as many people as possible with only the same small team you know and trust.
