The 1.0 T-GDI 48 volt hybrid is a downsized turbocharged petrol engine with 120 PS and 172 Nm at 1,500 ~ 4,000 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT transmission.
The 48 volt hybrid system is available across the range. It’s able to run on electric when decelerating or whilst stopped - conserving fuel at regular intervals on your daily drive. It’s an enhancement over traditional stop and start technology as it can switch to electric before the car comes to a complete stop.
For increased fuel efficiency, the iMT decouples the engine from the transmission after the accelerator is released. The vehicle goes into coasting mode.
The specially developed 7-DCT gearbox adds an extra dynamic accent with optimised fuel efficiency. Shifting between gears is extremely fast, smooth and enjoyable. 3 selectable drive modes are available, Normal, Eco and Sport.
